I decorated the room for Spring on Dollarama

Spring is coming.

At least that’s what I was told …

I watched several videos and read several blog posts of people who are redecorating the house for the spring.

There’s only one thing: none of them lives in Toronto!

Because here, I’ll tell you, Spring may still take a little while to arrive.

But okay, we raise the heater, pretend it’s hot and enjoy life.

This year I decided to make some changes in the room to make it more … spring.

And to start this project I decided to give Dollarama a try and buy things to help me with this mission.

I have an unrequited love for plants. I like them, but they do not like me. Die fast.

So this year I bought some artificial plants to give a more “cool” touch to the room.

These I found are very much like the real ones.

Cris, my husband, did not believe it when he got home.

Besides the plants, I made some arrangements with Dollarama spare parts.

I bought lavender because it’s a trend now and I have seen it all over the place.

I also bought some buckets for taller leaves and flowers, but to be honest, I did not really like the end result of those.

We plan to buy bigger plants at Ikea to occupy this same place.

The biggest surprise was finding these sequin pillow cases at Dollarama.

I have seen this type of fabric in several articles not only decoration but others.

But whenever I found it was very expensive. These covers cost only $ 4 on Dollarama!
