It is inevitable: the summer is over.
And it seems that this period gets a melancholy air in Toronto.
No wonder, in a few weeks we will have negative temperatures around here. The snow is already around the corner.
And I learned from the locals to enjoy it even more in the summer. I confess, Brazil was far from my favorite station.
But here I learned to value summer. To appreciate the green of the grass, to pay more attention to the flowers and, mainly, not to ignore the colors that I see around me.
So what's the point of having summer all year long if we do not notice it. Perhaps this is why winter is so rigorous here: for us to keep forever the memory of days exactly like this: ordinary but colorful.
