Yeah, summer has arrived!!! I confess that before coming to live in Toronto, summer was not my favorite season. But after spending months in snow and wearing coats, I'm now super happy when the hottest season of the year comes.
The problem is that it seems to fly by and if I'm not smart, I waste precious time. And who never made a thousand plans to enjoy some period and when it passed by they did nothing? Last summer would be a good example of this.
To avoid further waste, I decided to make a list of 10 things I want to do this summer and I will share it with you to inspire you also not to let this precious time pass in vain. You can use mine items for your list or incorporate your own (by the way, leave your tips for me in the comment below )
1. Fondue on the balcony
Since I came to Canada, I have never eaten fondue at home. And last year I said that I would enjoy a summer night to do this but .... Well, first I have to buy a fondue set, lol.
2. Theater in the park
Every year there is a season ofShakespeare plays in High Park. This year, in the 37ª edition of the event, they will stage Measure by Measure e Much Ado about nothing. The entry costs a donation of any amount at he gate or $ 30 if you want to book your place in advance.

3. Trail in Scarborough Bluffs
This will be my fourth summer here in Toronto and it's unbelievable that I have never been at Scarborough Bluffs, a park that, by the photos, seems to be sensational. It's another classic from my speech "this year I'm going to ...". So this year I will!
4. A day with the Fuji Instax
I think you've already noticed I love photography. But what few know is that I love analog photography. Yes, the one with films! I have some cameras in my collection, but among them I have a preference for my Fuji Instax, an instant camera I've had for years.
I haven't used it for a long time and I want to dedicate at least one day this summer to go out and take pictures with it (and maybe with other analog cameras too!).
5. Day at the zoo
I already went to Toronto Zoo before living here. But since we moved, we never went there again. This year I put on the list so I don't have any excuses.
6. Roof Top
This year we want to enjoy one of the most valued places of the city during the summer: a roof top. Besides being a great place to relax and have a drink, it's great for iconic photos of CN Tower.
7. Oysters with sparkling wine
Another item on the list that is super easy to accomplish, but we always leave for later: organize a late afternoon with oysters and sparkling at sunset on the balcony.
8. Lunch at Sunnyside Cafe
It's been a long time since we found this cafe facing the lake on one of our bike rides. This year, it's already noted: Let's have lunch one day at the Sunnyside Cafe.
9. Salsa on St. Clair
I don't remember why we didn't go last year, but this year I want to go to the Salsa on St. Clair, when they close part of the street for a salsa festival. It seems to be so much fun!
10. Fergus Scottish Festival & Highland Games
It has always been on my bucket list going to Highland Games, which are Scottish festivals with music, food and Scottish games! Imagine then when I discovered that there is one somewhere near here in Ontario!
