I got this huge box of cookies (and other delicious treats) from Loakers and, oh my God, I felt like a dog in a treat buffet! With so many goodies to try, I had this idea of setting up a table for hubby and I. Then I realized: what a good way to set a fall treats table!
If you’re going to host a dinner or Thanksgiving this Fall, this post is for you! I’m sharing my hot tips on how to set up a nice, yet hustle-free, sweet table for your guests. The best part? It takes like 5 minutes to do it!
(Don’t forget to watch the video above to get the details)
You’re only gonna need a table, some napkins, anything from your kitchen you think would be good for decoration, some bowls (different sizes and shapes to add interest to your table), a vase with flowers (or fall leaves) and fall ornaments.
And of course, you’re gonna need cookies and sweet treats! I like the idea of using what Loakers sent to me because their waffles are not fragile so you can play around until you find the best place for them. I didn’t get any broken cookie during the process.
I started placing the vase with leaves as it’s the tallest element on my table, so it can’t get in the way of other things.
Then I placed the napkins and some cork heat pads to add contrast to the marble table.
I placed the largest bows first as it makes it easier to set the smallest ones later.
After all the treats had their places I spread some natural small pumpkins, pine cones and artificial leaves (from a dollar store). Just play around with it until you feel it’s visually well balanced.
And it’s done! My final tip is: resist eating the cookies while you’re setting the table up (yes, the most difficult part!). I know they’re delicious but you can do it!
As I said, it only takes a few minutes and I’m sure your guests are gonna love it!
