Nowadays we’re always seeking for beautiful things. Beautiful places, beautiful food, beautiful anything that can bring joy to our lives. And THIS IS GOOD. Anything that brings us joy is good. Period.
But we can’t rely our lives only on beauty. And when we talk about food, we always want more than beauty. That’s why I love it when I find a place that is beautiful but yet serves really good food. If you’re like me, you’re gonna love the Light Cafe.
My husband found this place browsing on the internet and immediately knew I’d like to go there. So we did it.
The ambience is clean and white, but for sure the best feature is the plant wall. Yes, an entire wall covered with natural plants. Of course, I chose a table right in front of this wall.
They don’t have a brunch menu but you can find a variety of dishes that suit a “late breakfast” or lunch.
I ordered the Maine Lobster Roll ($15.75) and for my surprise it was gigantic. Actually it comes with two sandwiches instead of one. Plus green salad. We can agree the price is great, right?
And so was the taste. The lobster was fresh and delicious. I chose sesame dressing for my salad and it was amazing. I have been dreaming of this dish since then.
My husband ordered the Sukiyaki beef & kimchi croissant ($13.55). What can go wrong with kimchi and croissants right? I never thought about the two together but now I can say it’s really good.
But wait, I still haven’t told you the star of this post: the Cotton Candy Coffee ($5.95). Yes, cotton candy! What a genius idea: instead of sugar, why not sweeten our coffee with cotton candy?
To be honest I don’t like my coffee too sweet but I still wanted to try it. If you, like me, prefer your coffee less sweet, you can put only a little cotton candy on.
NEW ARRIVALS IN MY BOUTIQUE
I totally recommend this place if you love beautiful photos, build good memories and, of course, eat great food!
