You guys already know I love sunglasses and that I collect them. So how excited I was when Marsquest invited me to test one of their styles! And, of course, as you would expect from me, I chose a colourful one!
First of all, let’s talk about their goal: as a Toronto-based company, it carries the multiculturalism of the city at its core and, because of that one of their promises is to be a democratic brand that can attend to a variety of people from different cultures, styles and lifestyles. I loved it!
As an expat myself, it touches me when a company makes the effort to include me and to give me the opportunity to just be myself. Especially in bold colours!
So I got my new pair and went for a walk. At first, my main concern was that the weather was overcast which brings a common problem for sunglasses: you still feel the necessity to protect your eyes from bright light but the sunglasses can make it too dark for you.
I like how they performed because it adjusted to the amount of light and I could see clear and yet not feel the light too bright.
