BUY THE SAME SWEATER I WORE
In the summer I take all the opportunities to wear shorts, skirts, dresses… any garment it allows me to show my legs. But when Fall comes it’s time to store them at the end of the closet and forget about it until next year.
Here in Toronto winter is too long and we get tired of pants for real. We can always alternate between jeans and leggings, but there’s not much we can do about it.
This year I’m trying to push my limits and wearing “alternative” bottoms. At least until next month.
One of the pieces that is helping me embrace this challenge is this old denim skirt. And when I say old it’s really old. I believe I have had this skirt for at least 10 years now. I’m glad I didn’t toss it.
This skirt denim is thicker than normal denim, making this garment perfect for fall weather. I can wear a thin pantyhose below it and I’m good to go with temperatures between 5-18ºC (42-64ºF).
This past Saturday we had lunch with a couple of friends and I wore my skirt with a colorblock sweater (super trendy right now) and a leather jacket. To complete my outfit I chose these leopard boots I’m wearing a lot these days.
