Another week at home because of the lockdown here in Toronto. At least the last one! Restaurants, cafes and – most importantly! – gyms will reopen this week.
But last week was still a week of indoor activities, mainly because the temperatures were quite cold, making us give up even the Saturday walk in the park with Syrah.
The only walk she took this week was to take a bath, poor thing. We take her to an “automated dog wash”. A place with booths for bathing dogs that don’t like to be bathed at home and are scared to death of pet shops, like Syrah.
We noticed that she hates to go there, but she seems to be happier after the bath.
<irony here>And look what a novelty!</end of irony> We prepared fresh pasta once again!?. I know, I know… when something gets into my routine it is hard to get out. Now I do it even when I need to “improvise” something because there is nothing else in the fridge. Yep, fresh pasta has became my “last-minute” meal.
I also prepared other dishes for the blog.
We are watching all the seasons of The Sopranos during lunch and we were curious to try the wine they are always drinking in the series. So for our Saturday night dinner we had:
Our Sunday pizza this week was the perfect event to taste the “Barolo wine salami” Cris found during his trip to the grocery store this week. I love that he always find hidden jams every time he goes by himself (maybe I distract him?).
